Water cascades from a height of 320 meters (1070 feet) into a wide ravine creating an illusion of being milky. This unique characteristic has earned it the name“Dudhsagar” – Sea of milk. The width of these falls is 30 meters (approximately 100 feet). This spot has become a popular tourist haunt for domestic and foreign tourists.
The Dudhsagar Waterfalls begin on the Deccan Plateau in Karnataka and weaves its way down the falls, forming a deep pool flowing west into the Mandovi River and finally connecting to the Arabian Sea.
