Beach Watersports – Bring out the adventure in you
Goa is the land of beaches. The sand, the waves, the horizon, the sunsets and every other element of the beach is something that gives you a thrill like no other. It is one thing sitting on the beach sipping on you beer when you relax and another when you enter the waters to have a little bit of fun. We at Travel Adventures Goa wish to tap that side of you that needs to experience an adventurous thrill on the waters of the Sea.
A little bit of splash and lots of fun
We present to you a complete package that includes various adventure beach sports. We start off with Parasailing with a speed boat ride. You will be taken by a speed boat in the middle of the sea from where a canopy will be strapped on to you. Once you have been certified to be safely strapped on, a special speed boat will pull the canopy thus thrusting you into the air while you begin gliding in it. As you glide in the air, you will experience a bird’s eye view like no other. Fall in love with these magical sights and get mesmerized by this adventure ride for 10 minutes.
Next, get onto a Jet Ski ride with an instructor. Manoeuvre the waves as you cut through the seas at very high speeds. It is a complete need for speed moment that gets your heart racing as you feel the splash of the waves for a good 3-5 minutes. All Jet Skis are well maintained and instructors well trained to ensure that you have a great and safe time.
Bring out the sporty side of you while you embark on a thrilling banana boat ride on the waters of Goan seas. A perfect group activity for you commences by you being on board an inflatable boat, which gets pulled by a speed boat as you endure splashing of water on yourself. Enjoy the shouts and cheers of your buddies as you move on the waters for 3 to 5 minutes. Watch out for the ending of the banana ride. That’s the most fun part.
Your final ride will be a Bumper boat ride wherein you will be placed on a doughnut shaped ride which is a large air filled rubber tube. The speed boat will then begin to pull you at high speeds across a nice bumpy ride along the waves. The main aim of this is for you to hang onto your tube till the ride is over. This ride is not for the faint hearted and is mainly for those adventure enthusiasts who are up for challenges. Enjoy this 3 to 5 minute ride and battle it out on the waves.
Rates: The cost of the total package is Rs 1650 per person.
Time: You can embark on this adventure anytime 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The total activity time is 45 minutes.
Location: All rides take place at Hawaii Beach, Dona Paula and Calangute Beach. You can choose the location as per your convenience.
For those of you who do not want to take the entire packages as you may not want to do all the activities, we have an option of pay per activity. The rates of individual activities are mentioned below.
Individual Activities
Parasailing (10 mins) – INR 800 per person (Cost of speed boat ride is included)
Speed boat ride (3-5 mins) – INR 500 per person (Only ride in a speed boat)
Jet Ski ride with instructor (3-5 mins) – INR 400 per person
Banana boat ride (3-5 mins) – INR 300 per person
Bumper boat ride (3-5 mins) – INR 300 per person
Safety:
We at Travel Adventures Goa give top most priority to ensuring safety standards. All participants of activities must wear life jackets at all times. All jet skis and speed boats are well maintained from time to time. Para sailing canopies are well maintained and several checks are done when it is attached to your body. All instructors are professionally trained.
Important points to take note of:
- Dips during Parasailing are not included in this cost. If required, you need to pay additional cost on the spot.
- Jet Ski will be driven by the operator for safety purpose.
- Do not consume Alcohol before participating in beach water sports.
- Always wear life jackets and follow safety instructions.
- Wear comfortable clothes rather than jeans.
- Keep the environment clean. Do not litter on the beach.
