Old Goa Churches

You will be picked up from your hotel in North Goa and taken first to visit the 400 year old churches of Se Cathedral and Basilica of Bom Jesus located at Old Goa which was the former capital of Goa. These churches have been names as a World Heritage Site under UNESCO World Heritage Site. The body of St. Francis Xavier, considered as the patron saint of Goa lies in the Basilica of Bom Jesus. The Se Cathedral is a church of great architectural magnificence. A walk around Old Goa will enrich you with its vast history and mesmerizing works of beauty.

Ancient Mahadev Temple at Tambdi Surla

The Tambdi Surla Temple is the oldest of temples in Goa and is a Shaivite temple of Lord Shiva built in the 12th century. It is located in a small village called Tambdi Surla at the foothills of the Anmod Ghat in North Goa close to the town of Valpoi. This temple features some of the most fascinating work of architecture. The craftsmen involved in designing this temple must have worked really hard to come up with this master piece. You will find a headless Nandi right at the centre of the temple. Mahshivratri is celebrated with great zeal here and you will find large gatherings of people during this time. The temple and its works are sure to fascinate you.

Ancient Pandava Caves

You will be picked up from your hotel in North Goa and taken first to Ancient Pandava Caves near Harvalem Waterfall in Sanquelim North. These rock cut caves take you back in time to the 6th century. As the legend goes it is believed that the 5 Pandavas from the Mahabarata took refuge in these caves. You will also find Shivalingas in these caves thus giving weight to the legendary tales. These caves are simple yet a marvellous work.

Harvalem Waterfall

These beautiful falls are situated in Sanquelim North Goa. They are seated among dense vegetation and are a sight for sore eyes. The gorgeous fall is big in the monsoons and the roar of the falls has a musical tune to it. The height of these falls is 50 metres. You will also get to see the Rudreshwar temple which is located close to the falls.

Eco Farm with Buffet Lunch and Activities

Your trip to this eco farm of Goa will be a hospitable experience. As you move around you will witness plantations at their best. A buffet lunch with both veg and non-veg options will satisfy your taste buds thoroughly. The overall experience at a this farm will be like seeing the natural side of Goa in its complete form.

You will also get an opportunity to indulge in a series of activities. Splash and play in the water park that has a wide range of activities like slides, rain dance, artificial waterfall and so on. Those of you who are adventurous can try the climbing net, Burma Bridge, Tyre climbing and whole set of adventure activities. There are also a few rides that will get you thrilled like zip line, sky walk and others too.

The trip comes to an end with your time well spent on the farm. You will be dropped back to your hotels after a day filled with thrilling experiences in the wonderful nature.

Transportation
You will travel in a shared AC Vehicle with other tourists. Pick up & Drop will be provided from North Goa hotels booked only in Calangute, Baga, Arpora, Nagoa, Candolim, Sinquerim, Nerul, Vagator and Anjuna Area. For areas like Siolim, Arambol, Ashwem, Morjim, Mandrem, Panjim, Mapusa, Porvorim etc we have designated pick and drop locations for Shared vehicles only.

Price
The trip costs INR. 1999/- per person. Children from age 3-5 years will not be charged and no separate seats on the coach will be allocated. Children Above 5 years will be charged full rate.

Timings
The timing of this trip is 7:30 am – 5:30 pm

Attire and things to carry:
Make sure to wear light cotton clothes, shorts, t-shirts and sandals with good grip. Don’t forget to carry your umbrella and rain wear. Carry with you a towel to keep you dry. Bring along your camera for beautiful pictures.

This trip will help you appreciate that side of Goa which is not talked too often about. This is a soul satisfying trip and must be taken by everyone when in Goa.
